The Holiday Open House - The Oaks at Salem

The Oaks at Salem was the location of a wonderfully festive Holiday open house last night (Sunday the 4th).  The Ninety Nine Entertainment DJ Company was in attendance as well as a large portion of the Raleigh area wedding and party business community!  The property was exquisitely decorated and filled with great people, incredible food, drinks and Holiday cheer.

As we arrived at the house, we noticed the outdoor lighting from the house to the landscaping all the way across the pond to the ceremony site where there was a magnificently lit 100 year old tree.  The tree lighting - courtesy of Scott Carneval and his team from No Regret Productions DJ Company (as well as the sound for the evening) was spectacular!  There were several LED spots on the tree with a subtle color changing program keeping it looking fresh for every glance.

We walked in the door and were met by the hostess for the evening and were immediately guided into the room to the right where Jamie Howell, Stephanie Cisko and their team from Viva L'Event had set up for registration and sign in.

Once my wife and I were signed in and "name tagged up" we began our adventure into the Oaks at Salem.
We started in the great room where there we dozens of people chattering and food and drink....everywhere!
the food looked delicious and was provided by the Daniel's catering team, Cook Shack Catering and PoshNosh Catering.

We filled up cups of hot apple cider and hot chocolate and explored....from room to room as well as upstairs and down....we encountered finely decorated rooms and tables from Flowers by Elizabeth, Julie Liles Floral & Event Design, The English Garden,  Tre Bella and Party Reflections.

Every room had something to see, do or eat!  Downstairs there was an entire room filled with cake and cake pops from Ambrosia Cake Designs, Sweet Memories Bakery and Raleigh Cake Pops.  There were people having a great time with Neal Zipser of ShutterBooth.  He was set up downstairs with one of his photobooths, props and the works!

There were so many people there we didn't have time to speak with everyone - however - we did manage to have enchanting conversation with Julie Liles from Julie Liles Floral & Event Design, Elizabeth Jones from Flowers by Elizabeth, Neal Zipser from ShutterBooth, Julianne Kass from the English Garden Flowers, Scott Carneval from No Regret Productions,  the team from Raleigh Cake Pops, Jennifer Stevens of Ambrosia and April Maness owner and operator of The Oaks at Salem.

Great job Jamie Howell and Stephanie Cisko and the team from Viva L'Event!  Excellent turnout and everyone had a great time!

Happy Holidays!
